Bismillahirrahmanir Raheem. All praise is due to Allah(SWT), the Lord of the worlds, He alone do we worship and He alone do we ask for help.

I think last night might have been Laylatul Qadr. I completed Muslim women and modern challenges. It’s kinda scary how many of Allah(SWT)’s commands we disobey… and yet, he still looks out for us.
For Iftaar we had very lekker chicken and very lekker hot milo. AllahummaLakalhamdu Walakashukr.
I read namaaz and Quraan Shareef then went to sleep. At 3 a.m. in the morning, I woke up with Apa Humairah’s alarm and couldn’t fall back to sleep so we stayed up and read Tahajjud. There aren’t a lot of times in my life when I’ve felt an absolute, unbreakable bond with my Rabb (I mean I’m in constant awareness of Him and I’m always striving to improve my relationship with Him, but I’m not always as on par with Him or my Deen as I would like) but at 3 a.m. in the morning I honestly felt like I wasn’t sitting on my musalla in a Madressah hall, I felt like I was unbreakable, like nothing in the world could break my faith. In Shaa Allah it will always stay that way and it’ll be a means of my forgiveness.
I had eggs and hot milk for sehri, was yummy. I went back to sleep after Ishraaq.
I really need to get more Ikhlaas in my life.
This tap at the Wudhu Khana keeps dripping. I didn’t realize just how much I hate dripping taps until now. I guess I’ve discovered another top peeve. It might be second only to long nails. I’m making sincere dua that it gets fixed soon, like within the next 5 minutes.
Ammi might come later, it’s strange how much you miss your mother. Even though you fight and argue, I don’t think there’s anyone in the world who loves you like your mother.

“Respect is earned, not taken.”

I hope you enjoyed, take lesson and never forget to remember Allah(SWT) in everything you do.
